The group stage of IEM Beijing 2026 concluded at the Bloomage BioRunbaiyan Center in Beijing, finalizing the playoff lineup. On the last day of competition, NAVI and BetBoom defeated Falcons and Liquid respectively to claim their spots.
After losing to NAVI and dropping into the lower bracket, Falcons managed hard-fought victories over FaZe and Heroic. In their rematch against NAVI for the final spot, Falcons took a close map first but then lost Inferno and Mirage 4-13 and 3-13 respectively, ultimately failing to reach the playoffs.
BetBoom defeated the in-form Aurora 2-0 in the lower bracket, then narrowly beat Liquid to secure another spot in the playoffs.
MOUZ advanced directly to the semifinals without dropping a single map against TYLOO, BetBoom, and Parivision in the group stage. The MongolZ also secured a semifinal spot after defeating FURIA in a full three-map series.
FURIA arrived in Beijing less than 12 hours before the event started, having just won the PGL Bucharest Major, and subsequently faced FaZe, NAVI, and The MongolZ. G2, 9z, Legacy, and FaZe finished at the bottom, with G2 placing last in two consecutive events.
