Monolith Soft Involved in Multiple Aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Development

Monolith Soft has confirmed its participation in the development of the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, handling parts of the game design, programming, and graphics production. The title remains led by Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development Group No. 3.

Monolith Soft announced this information on its official website and added the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to its portfolio. This announcement further clarifies the collaborative structure of the project and does not indicate any change in the main development team.

Monolith Soft is well known for the Xenoblade Chronicles series and has long provided development support for Nintendo projects. The studio previously participated in the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

This year, Monolith Soft also assisted with titles such as Splatoon 3. For this remake project, Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development Group No. 3 is responsible for the main development, while Monolith Soft provides support in specific areas such as design, programming, and graphics production.
