NVIDIA Releases GeForce 621.14 Driver, Adds DLSS 5 Support and Fixes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

NVIDIA released the GeForce 621.14 graphics driver on November 4 (US time). This version supports DLSS 5 updates for World of Warcraft: Infinite and several other games, while also fixing issues such as occasional color display abnormalities in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

The new driver has passed WHQL certification and is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11, covering GeForce RTX 50, 40, 30, and 20 series, GTX 16 series, as well as some mobile GPUs and the RTX Spark platform. Hogwarts Legacy is planned to add DLSS 5 via an update on November 5. NVIDIA states that the update will improve shadows, texture details, and scene depth.

War Thunder is expected to receive an update in mid-November, improving ambient occlusion in vehicle scenes, shadows behind camouflage nets, and the reflection of muzzle flashes on the water surface in naval battles. NVIDIA claims that both games can achieve over 200 fps at 1920×1080 resolution when using any GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card; the RTX 5080 and higher models can also exceed 200 fps at 4K, though actual performance depends on test conditions.

The 621.14 driver will also support the free major expansion "Slayer Mode" for DOOM: The Dark Ages, scheduled for release in November. In addition to game fixes, this version addresses video freezing, black screens, flickering, and HDR anomalies occurring on some RTX 50 or RTX Spark devices. Users can obtain the driver through the NVIDIA App or official channels.
