Pearl Abyss has deployed a new hotfix for Red Desert, raising the game version to 2.04.07, with the client displaying version number 1.000.691. This patch is small in size, and the official changelog includes only one entry: the issue of Nibrak cloth armor disappearing has been resolved.
The official list of known issues still contains several items. When players bulk-transfer packaged trade goods purchased from merchants on Zamora Island, item quantities may become abnormal; the underwater environment lacks movement and other sound effects, and some blockaded outposts are located in inaccessible areas. The game may also crash if the base game and DLC versions are inconsistent.
Twitch Drops cannot currently be claimed through the corresponding in-game menu, and some rewards on Xbox may not appear. In certain situations, players may also be unable to interact with NPCs, mounts, or objects.
Other known issues involve certain quest progressions, Mac interface and cursor behavior, the PlayStation virtual keyboard, and display anomalies with FSR4 in rainy environments. This update is limited in scope, and the aforementioned issues remain to be addressed in future patches.
