GfK has released the latest UK physical game sales chart. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III remains at number one; due to the lack of major new releases last week, several key titles from October continue to dominate the top spots. EA SPORTS FC 25 rose from third to second, while Minecraft climbed from eighth to third.
In terms of physical sales for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the PS5 version accounted for 75%, the Xbox Series version for 20%, and the Nintendo Switch 2 version for 5%. All physical sales for Minecraft came from Nintendo platforms, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version accounting for 71% and the Nintendo Switch version for 29%. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which was second last week, dropped out of the top three and ranked fourth this week.
Resident Evil: Requiem jumped from 36th to fifth, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword rose from 20th to sixth. The resurgence of these two titles may be related to Capcom promotions, although there is currently no direct evidence linking the promotions to the ranking changes. Mario Kart World ranked seventh, Marvel's Wolverine tenth, and the newly listed Evercade Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack came in at 14th.
Among the rest of the chart, Pokémon Legends: Z-A ranked 16th, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 18th, Donkey Kong Bananza 20th, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond 28th, Super Mario Bros. Wonder 34th, and Battlefield 2042 37th. This chart only reflects weekly performance in the UK physical game market and does not include digital download sales.
