Independent development team MONO ENTERTAINMENT has revealed the Steam page for the Roguelite drop-puzzle game "Heavenly Weapon Drop." This title combines weapon stacking, adjacent attacks, and deck-building, though a specific release date has not yet been announced.
In combat, players must drop weapons of various shapes and abilities above enemies, adjusting their positions by stacking them. Weapons attack when adjacent to enemies, requiring players to consider weapon traits, enemy outlines, and limited placement space simultaneously. Some enemies can change the situation with special abilities, such as burning the game window or shrinking item sizes.
Deck-building is also a core system. After defeating each enemy, players can choose one item from three random options to add to their deck, with over 60 stackable items available. Some weapons deal more damage based on the number of connections, while others are affected by stack height; items like batteries can charge weapons upon contact, enabling combos.
In the story, the celestial computer responsible for managing the ground is suddenly overrun by virus monsters, prompting the angel Furen to summon ace engineers from the surface. Players act as her assistant to clear out the viruses. The Steam page currently confirms the combat, deck-building, and world-building framework, but the price and specific release date have not yet been announced.
