The three pre-order editions of GTA VI once swept the top three spots on the PS5 pre-order charts in regions such as the UK. On the US PlayStation Store, as of the time of observation, the game's two complete editions still occupied the top two positions.
On the UK chart, the $100 Ultimate Edition ranked first, the $80 Standard Edition came in second, and the $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade Pack, available for Standard Edition pre-orderers to purchase additionally, placed third. These three positions correspond to two complete versions and one upgrade item for the same game, not three different games.
US stores had previously seen a similar situation where three items occupied the top three spots. By the time of observation, the Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition remained in the top two positions, while the Upgrade Pack was pushed to fourth place by a collector's edition of an upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion.
These rankings only reflect the pre-order status of related items in specific regions at the time of observation and cannot be used to confirm actual sales figures. Before GTA VI officially launches and Take-Two discloses data, there are currently no reliable sales numbers available.
