Recently, FromSoftware officially released screenshots of a new gold-themed skin for the spectral steed Torrent. The appearance pack will launch on August 28 alongside the Switch 2-exclusive "Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition."
This paid DLC, titled the "Tarnished Pack," is priced at $4.99 and can be purchased separately on PS, Xbox, and PC platforms without needing the NS2 bundle. It includes two new starting classes, four sets of exclusive armor, and three skins for the spectral steed Torrent. The newly revealed golden armored steed is one of these three mount skins, featuring intricate gold patterns that align with the epic style of the Erdtree.
This DLC features only cosmetic items and starting class decorations, with no new storylines, maps, or bosses. It focuses on character and mount customization. Player community reactions are mixed; some collectors look forward to the new appearances, while others feel it lacks substantial gameplay content.
