Recently, 4Divinity, a publisher with dual headquarters in Singapore and Hong Kong, announced that it will showcase six new original games at Gamescom 2026. The titles will be displayed across three major halls: Hall 4.2, Hall 7.1, and Hall 6.1. This marks the brand's largest-scale expansion into the European and American markets to date.
The six titles on display cover a diverse range of genres, including AAA WWII shooters, Chinese-style action games, Western-style Soulslikes, and retro narrative adventures. The lineup includes "The Resisters," "Showa American Story," "Apocalypse Gun," "A Whisper of Autumn: The Jinyiwei," "Ancient God: Fenglixi," and "Yuan Gong Jian." Five of these are Chinese-themed works, while the other is a Western Soulslike FPS developed by an overseas studio. The total number of wishlists for these titles across all platforms has exceeded 2 million, with related video views surpassing 280 million.
During the event, the official team will globally premiere five new trailers, arrange over 180 meetings with media and creators, and film an 8-minute documentary to record this expansion into overseas markets. Leveraging a shared technology system from seven studios and over 270 developers, the team uniformly shares motion capture, combat engines, and audio development pipelines, supporting publishing collaborations with both domestic and international studios.
The publishing head stated that these titles have already amassed a large fanbase in Asia, and their presence at Gamescom aims to showcase the unique narratives and gameplay of Eastern games to European and American players. The CEO also mentioned that this exhibition is a key step for 4Divinity in establishing its position as a global publisher. They will continue to connect with development teams worldwide, facilitating the two-way exchange of original game works between domestic and international markets.
