Capcom continues to introduce players to the monster encyclopedia and story of the upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword. In the latest episode of Onimusha Chronicles, the focus is on the burly Phantom Demon, Shuten-doji.
Gameplay:
The video takes viewers to the majestic and eerie Mount Oe, shrouded in terrifying legends and tales of the "evil that lurks here." Deep within the fortress atop this mountain dwells a massive Phantom Demon whose atrocities and repulsive acts know "no bounds." Though he calls himself the legendary yokai "Shuten-doji," his true identity appears to be something else entirely...
Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be released on major console and PC platforms on September 4, 2026.
