Polish developer Simteract and publisher astragon Entertainment have announced that Bus Simulator 27 will launch on September 8, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Today, they unveiled a trailer showcasing the multiplayer mode, demonstrating how players can team up with friends to run a bus company. The game supports cooperative play for up to four players and features full cross-platform multiplayer.
The latest entry in the Bus Simulator series, Bus Simulator 27, is a bus-themed simulation game. The story follows Felicia Bay as it recruits new bus drivers to help rebuild the local public transportation network. This time, players don't have to shoulder the responsibility alone. The game features built-in cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, allowing friends to establish, develop, and manage their own bus company together.
Once the company is officially operational, the team can hit the roads of Felicia Bay together. Players can drive buses on the same route collaboratively or split up to handle different routes. Of course, not everyone needs to be behind the wheel; players can also board buses driven by others to assist with tasks such as checking passenger tickets. The developers emphasize that this mode supports full cross-platform play.
According to the official announcement, Bus Simulator 27 will be playable at Gamescom 2026. The demo version will allow attendees to experience some of the city bus routes firsthand and will introduce new content making its series debut: "intercity bus routes."
