Frogwares has released a five-minute gameplay overview trailer for the Cthulhu-themed survival horror sequel, The Sinking City 2, and announced the game's voice cast. The Sinking City 2 will be released on August 18 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
The new trailer uses narration to guide viewers through the world of The Sinking City 2, showcasing its dark Lovecraftian atmosphere and the horrors lurking beneath the surface. Step into Arkham—a flooded, dilapidated city now overrun by monsters—and explore the stories of Calvin and Faye, as well as why Calvin remains in this place abandoned by all.
The trailer dives deep into the game's core gameplay, revealing how tense survival horror and investigation elements are seamlessly blended. Players will explore the world of Arkham, uncover mysteries, and fight for survival. The trailer also highlights the combat system, emphasizing the scarcity of resources and the preciousness of ammunition.
At the heart of The Sinking City 2 are two characters whose stories are deeply intertwined with Arkham and its escalating nightmares. Andrew Weldon-Dennis and Gemma Elizabeth Whelan provide the voices for Calvin LaFerty and Faye Bennett, respectively.

Andrew Weldon-Dennis plays Calvin LaFerty, who finds himself drawn into the city's many mysteries as Arkham descends further into chaos. His credits include Baldur's Gate 3, The Invincible, 007 First Light, Blue Prince, and Dragon's Dogma 2.
The brave and intelligent Faye Bennett is voiced by Gemma Elizabeth Whelan, best known for her role as Yara Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. Whelan has also lent her voice to several well-known games, including Elden Ring, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.
