During CD Projekt RED's recent financial presentation, the company disclosed the size of each project's development team as of July 31, 2026. The data shows that multiple teams have expanded their staff over the past three months.
The Witcher 4 remains CDPR's largest project—the development team grew from 513 members on April 30 to 519 by the end of July, firmly holding its position as the company's biggest team.
The most significant growth was seen in Cyberpunk 2, where the team expanded from 163 to 184 members, adding 21 people in three months, indicating that the project has entered a more active development phase.
Regarding other projects: Project Sirius (a spin-off of The Witcher series) saw a slight increase of one member, currently standing at 84; the new IP Project Hadar grew from 24 to 33 members and remains in its early exploration phase.
Additionally, the earnings call revealed the development scale of The Witcher 3's new DLC, Old Tunes—a total of 220 people are involved, including 170 from the external studio Fool's Theory, 10 directly assigned by CDPR, and approximately 40 other external contractors.
