As pre-orders open for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the final chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, the official Steam page confirms that the PC version will utilize Denuvo Anti-Tamper technology.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the concluding chapter of Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. Players will once again embark on a journey with Cloud and his companions, facing off against Sephiroth in the final showdown. A major highlight of this title is the ability to freely explore the vast world aboard the airship Highwind—a highly anticipated feature from the original game.
Square Enix has simultaneously announced the release date: April 8, 2027. The game will launch on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, as well as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
Regarding pricing, the Standard Edition on Steam China is priced at 298 CNY, the Deluxe Edition at 448 CNY, and the Ultimate Deluxe Edition at 498 CNY. The Deluxe Edition includes the Story Pass, which contains two future DLCs—Sephiroth's Episode and Vincent & Turks' Episode—scheduled for release between winter 2027 and spring 2028.
Deluxe Edition purchasers will also receive 24-hour early access, allowing them to start playing from April 7, 2027. All users who pre-order will receive the bonus Summon Materia "Mecha Chocobo & Moogle."
