Pearl Abyss has announced Unknown Voyage, the first story expansion for Red Desert. The expansion will launch on October 15, priced at $24.99 or £19.99.
Unknown Voyage will add new storylines, ship exploration, underwater discoveries, enemies, and combat. Players can pilot their ships into the open sea to explore unknown islands and regions beyond familiar coastlines.
Underwater areas are also a key focus of this expansion. Players can dive into the sea to search for treasures, sunken ruins, and hidden mysteries, uncovering new exploration routes along the way. New threats will emerge both on land and at sea, requiring players to adapt their strategies to different combat environments.
The expansion also upgrades the housing mode by adding new customization options. Players can lease and manage various facilities, further expanding housing-related gameplay.
New storylines will be scattered across Pywel, involving ominous presences in the desert, dangerous political conflicts, journeys beyond time, and ancient secrets hidden beneath the waves.
Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane will each embark on new paths in these stories, seeking their own goals and shaping the future. Unknown Voyage is currently scheduled for release on October 15.
