Taiwanese indie game studio Ninth Business announced that the multiplayer party platformer "I Love Galaxy" will launch on Steam on September 9, 2026. The game supports up to 8 players, and the full version will include multiplayer stages, Star Rush mode, a skill system, and a map editor.
Players will drive customizable block-animal vehicles called "Kabo" to race against others through obstacle courses. Tracks feature traps, ramps, moving platforms, and rotating bars, along with boost pads and shortcuts to exploit.
During races, players can acquire various skills, such as striking opponents with lightning or using super jumps to clear obstacles. Track mechanisms, route choices, and interactions between players can shift rankings, allowing leaders to lose their advantage near the finish line.
The full release will also include a "Star Rush" mode. Instead of racing to the finish line first, players must chase and grab stars scattered across the arena. The first player to collect three stars and maintain their lead wins.
A map editor is another key feature of the game. Players can add terrain, traps, ramps, moving platforms, and decorations via drag-and-drop, creating levels without any programming or professional editing experience. Completed maps can be shared with friends and other players for challenges.
"I Love Galaxy" will launch on PC. The development team stated that they will continue to update the game based on player feedback after its release.
