NEOWIZ announced that "Brown Dust 2" will begin its collaboration event with the anime "Mato Seihei no Slave Season 2" on September 10. Kyoka Uzen, Izumo Tenka, and Yamashiro Ren will appear as playable characters, with their collaboration outfits available exclusively during the event period.
The collaboration event game cartridge is titled "Mato Seihei no Slave 2." The story takes place after Story Game Cartridge 20 and before Manager Game Cartridge 1. Yustia and her group head to Kainar to cross the Talos Mine but are blocked by a group of unidentified monsters. When their attacks prove ineffective, Kyoka Uzen, leader of the 7th Squad of the Demon Defense Force, appears.
The first season event, "Infinity Lock," will launch alongside the collaboration and run until September 23. The event monster, "Ancient Undead Miner," is Light-elemental, capable of unleashing high-combo attacks within a small area and resetting the target's cooldowns.
After "Infinity Lock" ends, the second season event, "Time to Submit," will follow, running until October 8. The Dark-elemental monster "Mine Spirit" appearing at that time primarily fights by inflicting debuffs.
The three collaboration characters will each receive outfits: "Infinity Lock Kyoka Uzen," "Amaterasu Izumo Tenka," and "Infinite Universe Zenith Yamashiro Ren." Six copies of Kyoka Uzen's outfit are planned to be distributed for free, along with her exclusive UR equipment and the exclusive SR equipment for all three collaboration outfits. Special styles "Special Outing" and "Master-Servant Reversal" will also be released for Izumo Tenka and Yamashiro Ren.
Plaza avatars for the three characters can be purchased during the collaboration period for 1000 Decoration Coins or 2000 Diamonds. Collaboration avatars cannot equip general items from avatar settings; they can only use the style accessories provided with the purchase of special styles. Actions and other content are unrestricted.
