Bandai Namco has now released update version 1.17.1 for Elden Ring, fixing an issue in multiplayer where DLC-exclusive items could be obtained abnormally. Under specific conditions, players who were not eligible to obtain these items could still acquire them.
The update version number displayed on console platforms is 1.018.001. This is a small-scale patch that has been released across all platforms.
Bandai Namco confirmed that this update only addresses the aforementioned multiplayer issues and does not include any other content. The patch notes also do not list any balance adjustments or quality-of-life changes.
