Recent reports suggest that Marvel is already developing a new Avengers game.
According to insider DanielRPK, Marvel is preparing another Avengers game. While details are still scarce, the leaker indicated that neither Square Enix nor Crystal Dynamics will be involved in development this time. Previously, Crystal Dynamics developed Marvel's Avengers, published by Square Enix, which ended in failure.
In response to the latest tweet about the project, the leaker stated that he currently has no further information to share. As a result, it's hard to say exactly how Marvel plans to handle this project.
It's worth noting that although Marvel stumbled with Marvel's Avengers, the company isn't afraid to try new things. It has released fighting games such as Marvel Rivals and is open to collaborating with other developers when working on these major superhero IPs.
It's still impossible to predict what the team has in store for the next Avengers game, but with Avengers: Doomsday approaching its release, this project may be announced in the near future.
