New Rumors for Resident Evil: Code Veronica Suggest a May-June 2027 Release

Fans of Resident Evil's classic era should brace themselves for a long but intriguing wait. New rumors have surfaced online regarding the potential release date of the highly anticipated Resident Evil: Veronica. According to the well-known leaker group Team Biohazard, Capcom plans to release the game in Q2 2027 (late spring to early summer).

The group claims that the game's release window will be late spring or early summer 2027 (May to June). This aligns with Capcom's traditional schedule, as previous Resident Evil games have almost always launched during the spring and summer months.

The original Code: Veronica, released in 2000, follows Claire Redfield's adventures on Rockfort Island and her reunion with her brother Chris as they fight against Umbrella Corporation and the Ashford family. Many fans consider this installment to be the "true third chapter" of the classic era.

A remake of Code: Veronica is one of the most requested titles in the Resident Evil community, and if Capcom polishes it to the level of the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes, the wait will definitely be worth it.
