NetEase has announced that Season 10 of Marvel Rivals will launch on September 11. The new hero, Gorr the God Butcher, will join the roster as a Duelist. Throughout the season, new costumes, events, maps, and game modes will be rolled out.
Gorr the God Butcher wields the All-Black Necrosword, a weapon that can shift into different forms depending on the battle situation. He can defeat and absorb enemies, transforming them into Black Berserkers, which he can then command to attack other targets.
Gorr can also use his symbiote abilities to maneuver across the battlefield and launch attacks from various angles. After unleashing his ultimate ability, the All-Black Necrosword transforms into the Blade of Annihilation, commanding all existing Black Berserkers on the field to launch a concentrated assault. In the PV, Loki is killed by this attack, and his portrait turns gray in-game.
The "Pajama Party" costume series will be released on the same day as the Season 10 launch. On September 18, the events "Jeff's Dream Eater" and "Jeff's Search for Superstars" will go live. On September 24, the new Conquest mode map "God's Quarry" will be added, and the "Gift of Galacta" event will return.
Season 10.5 will continue to advance the "Path of Doom," adding Phase 3: Avengers: Infinity War and Phase 4: Avengers: Endgame, along with two new game modes. The full patch notes for Season 10 will be published before the season begins.
