Developed and published by IllFonic Studios, the asymmetrical horror sandbox game Halloween: The Game, based on the classic horror film, has officially launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Halloween: The Game is adapted from the classic 1978 horror film. The story takes place on Halloween night in the town of Haddonfield and features 1-vs-4 asymmetrical sandbox gameplay.
One player takes on the role of the killer Michael Myers, using the shadow-displacement skill "Shape Jump" to conceal their presence and hunt residents in the dark. Up to four other players play as town survivors who must rescue AI civilians, gather supplies, call for police support, and use environmental items to defend themselves and survive.
A major feature of this title is the large number of ordinary NPCs with independent behavioral logic within the map. Residents will call the police or resist when they encounter the killer, giving the entire town a vivid sense of immediacy.
