During the latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo unveiled a trailer for Metroid: Ravenous. The game is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027, as an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2. Check out the video below!

Metroid: Ravenous is set on a crashed satellite where Samus is ambushed by a mysterious organization known as the Space Ninjas. Severely injured, she plummets into the depths beneath the satellite's surface. She must continuously enhance her abilities to survive in this perilous underground world. Samus gains new powers, including the ability to absorb enemy energy to stay alive. This installment features more prominent melee combat than ever before, along with the ability to run on water, teleport through the air, and perform execution moves.
