Xbox UK's official social media account appears to have accidentally leaked that Remedy Entertainment's new title, Control: Resonance, will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its launch day. The post has since been deleted.
The post promoted Remedy's upcoming action RPG and labeled it as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title. This information was surprising because neither Xbox nor Remedy had officially announced the game's inclusion in Game Pass through their official channels. Fans quickly noticed the major announcement in the comments section when the post went live.
Xbox UK may have prematurely released promotional materials intended for the second wave of announcements in September. Earlier this month, a similar mistake occurred with Castlevania: Curse of Belmont.
Control: Resonance is confirmed to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on September 24, 2026, with a Mac version scheduled for release later this year.
If the leak is accurate, the game will become one of the most significant third-party day-one releases for Game Pass in 2026, adding another major title to an already busy September for Xbox players.
