Nintendo announced today, September 10, the release of firmware update 23.0.0 for Switch 1 and Switch 2 consoles, adding several useful features. Let's take a look.
· This update applies to content shared across Switch 1 and Switch 2 consoles:
· Added a "Settings" option to the virtual game card's home screen.
You can check the login status of the console where the practical virtual game card is registered.
Even if you cannot transfer a virtual game card from another console, you can temporarily play the game via online authorization when launching it.
When transferring a virtual game card from another console fails, an "Online Authorized Game" button will appear.
Only the person who purchased the game can play it via "Online Authorized Games."
· Other updates include improvements to Mii functionality, VRR output support for TV mode on Switch 2, enhanced stability, and more.
