Pre-loading has begun for WARDOGS, a new realistic tactical FPS featuring 100-player battles developed by BULKHEAD Studio, which has recently surged in popularity. The game will launch into Early Access tomorrow. The Early Access version includes extensive improvements and adjustments based on demo feedback, so players who were left wanting more during the previous trial should keep an eye on it.
WARDOGS is a total war-style first-person shooter that blends tactical gunfights, combined arms operations, and construction and destruction mechanics within a large-scale military sandbox supporting up to 100 players.
The game mode is inspired by King of the Hill. Three teams will compete for control of a randomly generated 2x2 km "Control Zone" on a 256 square kilometer map. The team with the most players inside the Control Zone earns points, and the first team to reach 100 points wins. The random shifting of the Control Zone's location, combined with each player's unique tactical choices, ensures that every match is one-of-a-kind.
