KRAFTON's life simulation game, inZOI, will unveil its brand-new content, "Canvas Town," for the first time at the "2026 TapTap Play Festival" in Shanghai, China, from September 12 to 13.
"Canvas Town" is a UGC platform where players can save events they experience in inZOI, or use in-game content to design new scenarios, create scenes, and share them with other players. In "Canvas Town," players can also role-play different characters alongside other players and NPCs, enjoying the fun of role-playing.
By using inZOI mods, players can modify or expand upon existing scenario settings. Some scenarios will feature NPC interactions powered by large language models, allowing players to engage in conversations with NPCs and experience richer, more diverse story developments.
During this year's TapTap Play Festival, inZOI will set up a dedicated brand trial area to showcase some features of "Canvas Town." As one of the event's highlights, Kim Hyung-jun, CEO of inZOI Studio and Director of inZOI, will participate in a stage event to interact with Chinese players. This session will also be live-streamed on TapTap's official channel.
TapTap is one of China's leading gaming platforms, serving as a key hub for players to access game news and interact with each other. The "2026 TapTap Play Festival" is an offline gaming event hosted by TapTap with a focus on creators, and it will be held at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai.
