Konami has officially announced Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Remake, which will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Currently, the console versions are exclusive to Nintendo platforms, with no PS5 or Xbox Series X versions announced yet.
The original version was a PlayStation exclusive. The remake expands to PC and two generations of Nintendo consoles, but there is currently no clear information on whether it will launch on other consoles in the future.
Set during the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era, players take on the role of a student in their final year at Duel Academy. Throughout the game, you can choose partners from over 100 characters, duel opponents, and prepare for your graduation duel. The remake also features upgraded visuals for these characters.
The remake includes approximately 3,800 cards, featuring some popular cards that were not included in the original. Players can build decks and devise strategies around different cards while experiencing campus life at Duel Academy.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Remake is now available for pre-order at $49.99. At least for the Nintendo eShop version, pre-order customers will receive four digital bonuses, including three digital cards and the "Winged Kuriboh" duel partner.
