Welcome to Goyuan Town is a cozy horror RPG. Here, the abnormal is normal; the townsfolk are all eccentric, mysterious entities silently watch over you, and the local news reports become increasingly bizarre each day. This is the debut title from indie developer Chris Cote, featuring hand-drawn art styles and a gloomy Lo-fi original soundtrack.
Players can run their own farm, befriend or develop romantic relationships with locals, investigate various mysterious events, decorate their homes, battle terrifying creatures, go fishing, cook, search for the Old Gods, die in their sleep, and experience much more. The game is priced at 59 RMB, with a 10% discount during the first two weeks of release, bringing the price down to 53.1 RMB.
