Japanese game label Ultranova Entertainment has announced Blue Devour, a 3D romantic adventure action game, touted as one of the most unique releases of winter 2026. The game will launch on PC (Steam) and consoles, with region locking for China.
The story revolves around the protagonist, Tsuzuri Chigusa, who is suddenly summoned to a world inhabited only by women. As the sole male on the planet, he receives a mission from a goddess to cure the mysterious disease afflicting women, known as "Blue Devour." This condition halts women's vital functions and has pushed the entire population to the brink of extinction. The only cure is the protagonist's massage techniques.
The game features six girls you can build relationships with: a maid, a shrine maiden, a bunny girl, a police officer, a teacher, and an influencer. Each has their own personality, story, and fate. Gameplay is divided into two modes: "Adventure Mode" includes dialogue and choices that affect affection levels and endings; "Mission Mode" involves 3D city exploration and completing tasks, such as finding and treating the afflicted. The project offers over 100 hours of voiced dialogue and a multiple-ending system.
The developers openly state that the game features revealing outfits, illustrations, and voice acting. With a budget exceeding 100 million yen, cosplayers dressed as the various heroines will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
