Two Point Studios has announced the 'Lost Amusement Park' expansion for Two Point Museum, confirming its release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 8. The new content features a playground and carnival theme, allowing players to collect related exhibits and build their own mini roller coasters.
Players can send the new Playground Expert to explore the Gearbox Fairground expedition map, obtaining new blueprints and buffs through expeditions. The expansion offers over 17 amusement park-themed exhibits, ranging from interactive attractions to antique amusement equipment.
New facilities include the Pirate Ship, Haunted House, Ferris Wheel, Popcorn Stand, Cotton Candy Stand, Teacups, and Cheese Rapids. The mini roller coaster allows players to adjust track height, incline angles, and banked turns, offering five different themes.
The expansion will also introduce a new museum location, Riquetti Gardens, along with a five-star campaign. Gift shop items, themed objects, and decorations will be added, while facilities such as helipads, ticket booths, benches, and trash cans will receive corresponding amusement park-style variants.
Regarding staff, players can unlock 10 mascot costumes, letting museum employees dress up to entertain visitors. This theme also pays homage to the development history of Two Point Studios' founders: Mark Webley and Gary Carr previously worked at Bullfrog Productions and contributed to the 1994 game Theme Park.
Two Point Museum: Lost Amusement Park is priced at £9.99 and will launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 8, with versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S also available. A Nintendo Switch 2 version has been confirmed but is currently listed as 'Coming Soon'.
