Nintendo Updates "Super Mario" Logo and Character Renders, Adds Small Pocket to Mario's Overalls

Nintendo recently updated the "Super Mario" logo and character renders for Mario. The new logo features a single-line horizontal layout, while Mario's clothing materials appear more detailed, with a small pocket added to the waist of his overalls.

The logo adjustment is relatively minor, retaining the original color scheme but with reduced saturation and more pronounced gradient effects. Compared to the stacked vertical layout common over the past 30 years, the new logo consolidates the text into a single line.

Mario's overall appearance remains largely unchanged, with iconic elements such as his hat, gloves, and mustache all retained. The new details are located on the waist of his overalls and are quite small, requiring zoomed-in renders to see clearly.

The new renders also enhance the texture and quality of Mario's clothing. The YouTube channel GameXplain noted that these new materials give his outfit a more natural look, moving away from the previous latex-like appearance.

Nintendo previously held two Direct presentations but did not announce any new Mario games, only confirming that additional tracks would be added to Mario Kart World. No new 3D Mario titles have been officially announced yet, so the updated logo and render alone do not prove that a new game is being prepared for reveal.
