Rubeki, the developer behind Lorn's Lure, has announced The Hollowing, a new first-person horror flight simulator, revealing its debut trailer at the 2026 PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct. Both games are set in the same world, but this time players will pilot an aircraft through dense fog.
Players take on the role of Phil, a pilot who must travel between towers within a massive megastructure, repairing them along the way to keep the settlements connected. During his flights, he is accompanied only by his plane, the thick fog, and voices over the radio.
The trailer gradually reveals what happened to the previous pilot: he heard strange interference over the radio and suffered hallucinations due to "spore toxicity," gradually losing his grip on reality. By the end of the trailer, Phil begins experiencing the same issues.
The Hollowing continues the original PlayStation-style visuals of Lorn's Lure. This new title was revealed just two years after the developer's previous game launched.
The Hollowing is currentlyAvailable to wishlist on Steam now, with no release date announced yet.
