Aniplex has announced that the special program "Record TIMES" for Record will air on October 15, 2026, at 20:00 JST, revealing game introductions and the latest information. The program will be broadcast on the official TYPE-MOON GAMES YouTube channel.
The program will feature voice actors Atsushi Abe and Yui Ishikawa, who voice the protagonist. Record is a full remake of Fate/Extra, the first RPG in the Fate series, and is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027.
Official pre-release in-store demo events will also be held in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo on September 26–27, October 3–4, October 10–11, and November 28–29, 2026, respectively. Venues include Animate Sapporo, Animate Nagoya, Sofmap Namba Store, and Yodobashi Camera Hakata Multimedia.
Players who complete the demo can receive one of four original Alien Stickers on a first-come, first-served basis. The stickers feature three character designs—Saber, Archer, and Caster—plus one hidden variant.
Players who reserve the game at participating stores by the day before the demo event, or make a reservation at the venue on the day of the event, will also receive a non-sale in-store promotional poster. Those who reserved in advance must bring proof of reservation, such as a receipt, when attending the event.
The game will launch on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, with Simplified Chinese subtitles. In Japan, both physical and digital standard editions are priced at 8,910 yen, with a Digital Deluxe Edition and various physical limited editions also available.
