Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will offer an auto-leveling feature once players reach certain points in the story, allowing characters to instantly reach the recommended level. This design aims to reduce the grinding burden for some players during long JRPG sessions.
Producer Naoki Hamaguchi stated that auto-leveling is not a mandatory feature. Players who prefer not to use it can still complete side quests, gain experience, and level up their characters in the traditional way.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the concluding title in the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy. The auto-leveling feature allows players focused on advancing the main story to skip repetitive grinding, while still preserving the original character progression system.
Naoki Hamaguchi also revealed that Moogles will make another appearance in this installment, this time undergoing training to form a pop idol group.
