K-pop star Lisa, who has achieved massive success both as a solo artist and as a member of the girl group Blackpink, has recently partnered with Sony to develop her own game controller.
Sony has officially announced a new limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller themed around K-pop singer Lisa. The controller features Lisa's "iconic bangs and eyes" design, along with her signature stars and LL letters, in an iridescent pearl color scheme.
The Lisa Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller will be available for pre-order starting at 10 AM local time on October 2, while supplies last, priced at $84.99/€84.99/£74.99. It will have a limited release on October 30 via the PlayStation website and selected retailers worldwide.
In addition to the controller, a series of co-branded merchandise will be launched in the US in October, including clothing, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers, DualSense controller carrying cases, and more, all featuring Lisa's designs and the PlayStation logo. These items will be available for pre-order on the PlayStation website at 10 AM ET on October 2, with additional products launching on Lisa's official Amazon store on October 23.
Lisa stated in a press release: "Gaming is one of my ways to relax, so I'm thrilled to collaborate with PlayStation to create this gaming collection.
I had fun adding some small details that I know my fans will notice, and I hope they can relate to them. I've always loved expressing myself through music and fashion, so this collaboration gave me a new creative outlet to show a different side of myself. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do."
The DualSense wireless controller has always been a key part of the PS5 experience, with its adaptive triggers and haptic feedback enhancing the tactile feel of gameplay. Since the PS5 launch, Sony has continued to expand its controller lineup with various colorways, special editions, and collaborative designs.
