Ningyi Technology has announced that the "Aztec: Day of Divine Descent" season for Conqueror's Blade will launch globally on September 29. The new season, themed around Aztec civilization, will introduce three unique units, the new map "Tenochtitlan," and the "Ritual Warfare" mechanic.
The three themed units are the "Sacred Eagle Warriors," "Shadow Jaguar Warriors," and "Headshavers." The new mechanics draw inspiration from Aztec concepts of captivity and sacrifice, linking kills, captures, and troop replenishment. Players can incorporate defeated enemies into their own forces to replenish troops and sustain their offensive.
The Sacred Eagle Warriors are designed for high-speed pursuit and short-range engagement, capable of halting enemy retreats with slows and crowd control. They excel on open roads, slopes outside cities, around strongholds, and along rotation routes, allowing them to enter the battlefield multiple times to exploit weaknesses and replenish troops using the captive mechanic.
The Shadow Jaguar Warriors specialize in close-quarters combat, wielding macuahuitls to continuously attack targets and inflict bleeding damage through tearing wounds. This unit is well-suited for stronghold perimeters, narrow chokepoints, and dense formations, and can also replenish its ranks with captives during engagements.
The new map "Tenochtitlan" will launch with the season, set in an ancient city on water where players can lead their armies in large-scale assaults and defenses. The season will also introduce Aztec-themed cosmetics: "Descendants of the Eagle" and "Tlatoani."
The Aztec Season Pass is now available for pre-order and will remain so until the maintenance before the new season begins. Pre-ordering grants rewards such as the Ancient Battlefield Journal and Season Pass XP, while also unlocking all content for the "Oath of Conquest" event. Players who do not pre-order can still participate in challenges for free and claim some rewards.
During the event, players can complete "Daily Commissions," which refresh at midnight each day, to gain experience; all currently available tasks can be completed before the event ends. Participating in designated siege battles will also earn War Merit Medals, which can be exchanged for supplies in the Merit Shop. Login rewards and the free Soul Dismantling event will also be available simultaneously.
