Sagestone Games launched the Early Access version of Delverium on Steam on September 22. This top-down open-world survival game supports up to 8-player co-op, and its wishlist count surpassed 100,000 before release.
Delverium features pixel art graphics set in a fantasy world. Players can explore, farm, gather resources, craft items, and build bases across procedurally generated vast maps. They can also recruit NPCs to live alongside them, then delve into caves and dungeons to uncover scattered lore clues and reveal the secrets behind the "Rifts."
The game supports both single-player and multiplayer co-op: local split-screen accommodates up to 4 players, while online mode supports up to 8. Its demo was updated in February 2026 to include 8-player co-op functionality. Players can focus on managing their farms or team up to challenge dangerous areas and seek rare treasures.
Developer Sagestone Games is an independent studio based in Brisbane, Australia, and Delverium is the team's debut title. Before its release, the game garnered over 100,000 wishlist additions, with approximately 19,000 coming from Japan.
Lead developer Scott Lowther stated that this is a project he and his family have dedicated themselves to for a long time. The team believes the current version offers sufficient content for Early Access and plans to continue collaborating with the community to add new features. The existing update roadmap includes mod support, new bosses, and biome regions.
Delverium is now available in Early Access on Steam for PC, priced at 1,399 JPY, with a 20% launch discount during the initial promotional period.
