Mini Bunnies and Emlise have collaborated to develop a new physics-based Metroidvania action-adventure game, "Iron Spikes." The demo has received rave reviews, and the full release is scheduled for 2027.
"Iron Spikes" combines free-flowing action with tense shooting mechanics in a Metroidvania style. Players must skillfully use the extendable grappling hook to explore a massive mechanical city, where robots controlled by the souls of the dead are seeking redemption.
In this game, the physics-based extendable grappling hook is one of the most free-form movement systems. There are no restrictions on actions, fully testing the player's creativity. Launch yourself into the air, slam into enemies, close distances in an instant, and prepare your shotgun for close-range combat. The gameplay is tense, exciting, and diverse.
