God of War creator David Jaffe has once again slammed Marvel's Wolverine, calling the game unoriginal and repulsive. Previously, he had criticized Marvel's Wolverine on social media, stating that its female character designs were terrible.
David Jaffe has repeatedly released videos discussing his views on Marvel's Wolverine. His latest video states that Insomniac Games' work is extremely mediocre.
Jaffe believes that the team should have delivered something special from the start, and should have focused more on Wolverine's explosive gameplay rather than plot introductions and narrative cutscenes.
He also pointed out that in terms of combat, games like Mortal Shell are more rewarding than Marvel's Wolverine. Marvel's Wolverine should focus less on storytelling and more on the gameplay itself.
"Insomniac's leadership, you should be ashamed. The leadership must take responsibility for this. It is an outrageous lack of vision. It's so bland it makes me angry."
