Recently, branded PC manufacturer CyberPowerPC launched a series of pre-built systems featuring NVIDIA's RTX 50 series reference design graphics cards in the North American market.
According to retailer Walmart, the RTX 5080 model, priced at $2,299 (approximately 16,208 RMB), sold over 1,000 units within just one day of launch and is currently out of stock.
Walmart currently offers four configurations, featuring either the RTX 5070 FE or RTX 5080 FE graphics cards. The RTX 5070 systems can be paired with either the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or the Core i7-14700KF, while the RTX 5080 systems offer choices between the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the Core Ultra 9 285K.
All four configurations come with 32GB of DDR5 memory, and Walmart's product page clearly states that the graphics cards are Founders Edition versions.
The most notable configuration is the RTX 5080 FE paired with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D (model SLC8500WST), priced at $2,299 and equipped with 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory. It has already sold out and been delisted, with over 1,000 orders placed within a single day.
Meanwhile, some inventory remains for the RTX 5070 reference design systems. The model paired with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is priced at $1,649 (approximately 11,625 RMB), while the version with the i7-14700KF is priced at $1,599 (approximately 11,273 RMB).
It's worth noting that NVIDIA's reference design graphics cards are typically sold separately only through their own store or specific retailers, and are rarely authorized for pre-installation in complete systems by system integrators. CyberPowerPC's large-scale supply of systems with reference design GPUs has been seen by many enthusiasts as a "backdoor" way to obtain original manufacturer graphics cards.
