HanbitSoft's MMORPG "Sword of Kings M" has now opened the second phase of "Byron." This update adds a new area, "Moonlight Garden," and simultaneously implements the Totem system, multiple new heroes, and Ancient and Mythic class pets.
After completing specified main quests, players can pass through the "Silent Banquet Hall" to enter the "Moonlight Garden," where they can challenge stronger enemies in the depths of Demon Island. The update also opens the raid battle "Hidden Clock Tower Underground" and the second floor of the Advanced Demon Castle dungeon, "Trajectory of Time," while expanding regional exploration quests and the hero, item, and monster catalogs.
As the Byron region progresses, the hero awakening level cap has been raised to level 30. The "Refined Liberation Aura" required to break through this limit can be obtained through crafting, exchanging at NPC shops, or clearing dungeons.
This update introduces the recruitable hero Beloneve, along with collection heroes such as Ion, Vincent, and Avel. These characters can be obtained from daily dungeons and fragment chests, with some also being required members for specific trade quests.
The pet roster has also been expanded, including Ancient-class Meltis and Jaina, Mythic-class Ion Felipe and Berserker Laval, as well as Legendary-class Retief.
The newly implemented Totems are part of the equipment growth system, allowing players to consume enhancement stones to boost their primary stats. When a totem is enhanced to specific stages, it gains random additional attributes, and players can use "Totem Refinement Stones" to reroll these stats.
If totem enhancement fails at specific stages, the system will grant fragments corresponding to that stage; collecting enough fragments allows direct crafting of the totem for that stage. This update also adds refinement locking, Spirit Core option reset vouchers, and optimizes interfaces and convenience features for guilds and crafting search.
