Yamato-Yagi Station in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, Japan, has recently been decorated with Street Fighter 6 themed installations. Characters such as Ryu and Chun-Li appear on the central staircase, restroom signs near the ticket gates, and in the waiting room. The Japanese voice actors for these two characters have also recorded tourist announcements to introduce local attractions to travelers.
A large mural has been installed near the north plaza of Yamato-Yagi Station. Featuring the character selection screen from Street Fighter 6 along with the "Kashihara x Street Fighter" logo, it serves as the most eye-catching element of the station's decorations.
Hiroki Takahashi, the Japanese voice actor for Ryu, and Fumiko Orikasa, the Japanese voice actor for Chun-Li, have each recorded original voice lines. The broadcast highlights tourist spots including the Fujiwara-kyo Palace Site, Kashihara Jingu Shrine, and Ishibutai Kofun, one of Japan's largest ancient burial mounds.
The related broadcasts will air at Yamato-Yagi Station and Kashiharajingu-mae Station every 20 minutes between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily, scheduled to continue until July 30, 2027.
This collaboration also features two sets of commemorative admission tickets, each paired with a different style of Street Fighter 6 limited-edition ticket holder. Yamato-Yagi Station will sell 1,000 sets for 1,080 yen each, while Kashiharajingu-mae Station will offer another 1,000 sets for 720 yen each.
When placed side by side, the two ticket holders form a complete image. The train ride between Yamato-Yagi Station and Kashiharajingu-mae Station takes about 5 minutes, allowing purchasers to visit both stations to collect the respective designs.
