The Walt Disney Company has announced another price increase for Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions. The monthly fee for standalone Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium plans will rise from $18.99 to $21.49, while the Premium Bundle for both services will increase from $19.99 to $21.99.
When Disney+ launched in 2019, its lowest monthly fee was $6.99, allowing users to watch the Star Wars film series, Marvel Cinematic Universe titles, and original series. Since then, its subscription price has increased annually, with this latest hike marking the sixth increase since Disney+ first raised prices in 2021.
This price adjustment further narrows the gap between standalone subscriptions and the bundle. At the new published rates, subscribing to either Disney+ or Hulu Premium individually is only $0.50 cheaper than the Premium Bundle that includes both services.
In September 2026, Disney+ will offer original content, sports podcasts, and select cable TV shows. The platform will also exclusively premiere the summer films "Toy Story 5" and "The Mandalorian & Grogu" that month.
After the price hike announcement, some users began publicly discussing canceling their subscriptions.
