Square Enix will release Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24, 2026. Both the physical and digital editions are priced at 5,478 yen (including tax).
The Nintendo Switch 2 version retains all the original content from Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age, while adding two display options. Players can choose "Quality Priority Mode" to prioritize visual fidelity, or "Performance Priority Mode" to prioritize frame rate.
Both versions are priced the same, with the physical edition also including a specially designed outer slipcase.
