HoYoverse, the creator of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, has opted for a darker, Elden Ring-inspired atmosphere for its new title. However, the development team emphasized that the game is not intended to be overly difficult, ensuring that newcomers to action games can also get started easily. Details regarding the game's monetization model are still being finalized.

Nodus: Fall of the Gods is a mythology-themed action game designed around cooperative play. In addition to boss challenges, players can experience the story, make friends, play in pairs, or relax in hot springs. When teaming up, players can activate a special mechanic called "Divine Drain"; details on party size limits and specific rules will be announced later.

Combat centers around basic attacks and customizable "Divine Skills." These skills cover offensive, defensive, and supportive effects, allowing players to combine them according to their personal playstyle or team composition. The development team aims to make the game easy to pick up while still leaving room for deeper mastery of mechanics, coordination, and skill combinations.

Players will take on the role of the "Weaver," an emissary who once traveled between heaven and earth but fell to the mortal realm after losing their power. The gods and creatures of this world have been corrupted by evil forces, turning into calamities; the Weaver must unravel and eliminate these calamities to prevent the world from descending into destruction. The development team stated that mythological concepts from different civilizations will clash within the story, while their commonalities will weave them into a single narrative.

Currently, HoYoverse has only confirmed that the game will launch on PC, with information about other platforms to be announced later.
