The PC system requirements for Rayman Legends: Retold have been announced. To run at 4K resolution with ultra settings at 60 FPS, the specifications list an NVIDIA RTX 4080, with upscaling set to "Quality" mode.
PC hardware requirements for many current-generation games have increased, partly due to the demands of Unreal Engine 5. In comparison, the previously listed 4K 60 FPS requirements for Gears of War: E-Day were relatively modest, while Rayman Legends: Retold has significantly higher GPU requirements for 4K.
The specification sheet lists four target tiers, all with upscaling set to "Quality" mode. The 1080p, low settings, 60 FPS tier requires a GTX 1660, RX 5500 XT, or Arc A580; the 1080p, high settings, 60 FPS tier lists an RTX 3070, RX 5700, or Arc A750.
For 1440p, high settings, and 60 FPS, the recommended GPUs are the RTX 3070, RX 6750 XT, or Arc B580. For 4K, ultra settings, and 60 FPS, the listed GPUs are the RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX, with CPU requirements of Intel Core i5-9400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
Regarding memory, the 1080p low settings tier requires 8GB of dual-channel RAM, while the other three tiers require 16GB of dual-channel RAM. All four tiers require 33GB of storage space; the low settings tier lists 64-bit Windows 10, while the other tiers list 64-bit Windows 11.
Rayman Legends: Retold was originally scheduled for an early October release but is now planned for December. The currently listed GPU requirement for 4K ultra settings is the RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX.
