September 24, 2026 — Escape from Tarkov: Arena launches its Free Weekend, allowing players to try out the full game content for free. Alongside this are Twitch Drops, limited-time discounts of up to 20% off, special streams, and tournament events.
Free Weekend & Special Offers
● Free Weekend (September 24-27): Players can play all game modes of Escape from Tarkov: Arena for free via the official launcher from 19:01 on September 24 to 19:59 on September 27 (Beijing Time). If players purchase the game afterward, they will retain their progress.
● Special Offer (September 24 - October 4): The official store will launch a limited-time sale:
○ Arena Standard Edition: 20% off;
○ Arena Standard Edition + All Tactical Maps: 20% off;
○ Customs Tactical Map: 20% off;

New Season and BlastGang Mode Rework
Last week, Arena received a major update and launched Season 3 of the Battle Pass. This free weekend is the perfect opportunity to experience all the new content:
● BlastGang Mode Rework (5v5): This game mode is based on classic bomb-defusal gameplay, where attackers must plant explosives and defenders must defuse them. The rework focuses on removing the standard preset loadout system and introducing a flexible in-match economy. Players start each match with the same equipment and use earned in-game currency at the beginning of each subsequent round to purchase weapons, gear, and consumables. This mode retains the classic features of Escape from Tarkov: realistic ballistics, advanced armor systems, and deep weapon customization.
● Battle Pass and Progression: The new Battle Pass offers over 60 unique rewards, ranging from weapons and gear to tactical apparel. The Armory has also been updated, including the Ronin helmet which supports modular modifications and interchangeable ballistic plates. Season 3 also improves the game's progression system and revamps the items provided by referees.
● New Maps: The game adds the "Laboratory Remake" map and the Laboratory Tactical Map. The new tactical map includes 56 reward progression points and features hidden areas with extra rewards.
