The Platinum Trophy for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be easier to obtain than that of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The development team expects that around 20% or even more players will be able to earn this trophy.
Recent developer interviews also revealed other details about the new title. Players will need to reserve approximately 200GB of storage space for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and the team discussed the game's Platinum Trophy.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi stated that the team may have previously underestimated players' willingness to earn the Platinum Trophy for the game. Battle Director Teruki Endo mentioned that some players felt disappointed and regretful for not obtaining the Platinum Trophy.
The Platinum Trophy requires players to earn all trophies in the base game. For the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the team's expectation remains that "around 20% or more players will be able to earn the Platinum Trophy."
