iPhone Duo Has Large Black Bars When Playing Honor of Kings, Netizens Complain, Li Jiaqi Advises Against Buying for Now

The iPhone Duo has officially gone on sale, but many mobile games have not yet completed compatibility adjustments. When playing Honor of Kings, the image fails to fill the screen, sparking heated discussion over the large black bars on both sides. Li Jiaqi advised delaying purchases during his livestream.

Recently, many bloggers and netizens have shared videos of themselves playing Honor of Kings on the iPhone Duo.

From the actual test footage, when running Honor of Kings on the inner screen of the iPhone Duo, the game cannot display in full screen and only supports proportional scaling. Even when zoomed in, significant black bars remain at the top and bottom, leading netizens to joke that it's "advertising space available for rent."

Moreover, playing Honor of Kings on the external screen also suffers from compatibility issues, as the game image fails to fill the screen, leaving large black bars at the top.

Famous livestreamer Li Jiaqi also discussed the software compatibility issues of the iPhone Duo during his broadcast, bluntly stating that "95% of apps are incompatible."

Li Jiaqi complained, "Wow, my Honor of Kings only opens up this much; I can't even reach the buttons with my thumb."

Li Jiaqi also suggested holding off on buying the iPhone Duo for now, advising against rushing to pay a premium for the first batch and recommending waiting a bit longer.

It is understood that Apple has specially showcased apps optimized for the iPhone Duo in the App Store.

Currently, the list of compatible apps includes iQIYI, Tencent Video, QQ Music, QQ, DeepSeek, JD.com, WPS Office, Amap, Alipay, and Anipop.

However, based on the initial user experiences, the software ecosystem of the iPhone Duo still needs improvement, especially regarding compatibility issues with popular games like Honor of Kings, which will require future updates to resolve.
